The plug refers to a block heater. You plug your vehicle in to ensure it starts easier, or at all, in very cold weather. It generally doesn't come standard in vehicles but is very very worth it if you live where it can get cold.

Wow that is crazy. I thought it was freezing here today being 17°C just looked it up and thats 63°F! I dont know how you guys do it thats insane.

This is my life 5-6 months a year. NW Minnesota, we just had a blizzard yesterday and its still snowing and wind is blowing pretty hard. Roads are icy and snow drifts everywhere. Was -10 earlier but i imagine it's colder now that it's dark. Love living where the air hurts to breath lol
