SO has spilled coffee over many surfaces we own. When coffee stains, it's a light brown color. That there is blood.

Either someone repeatedly bled through their tampons while sitting on the edge of the bed, or this is a murder scene.

I may just be OCD but I'm a firm believer that a water proof cover and sheets should always be on your bed and it will always look new and stay clean. This mattress looks like it belongs in an abandoned house. Gross.

There is also a diy bleaching treatment you can do on your mattress but drying time is long.

Beds on floor and with no sheets always look icky.
