conviecing a girl! Does anyone believe they did something or ate something that helped them conceive a girl? Lol I know…

There were seriously no boys in my husbands family and barely any in ours. After we had our first born (our son) and went to try for number 2 I tried everything out there to try for a girl lol.

Idk if it had anything to do with it, but we did have a girl lol. Could just be a coincidence though ?

I'm on my third girl think it's just pot luck ! Xx

Dunno how true this is but they say girl sperms swim slower so maybe do the dirty before ovulation xx

I thought in my head before I got pregnant that I wanted a boy. I even started calling him a he before I knew he was a boy.

You could say I just sensed that I would have a son, or that I thought about it so much, it happened.

I'm TTC number 2 and keep thinking of having a girl. It would be so trippy if my next is a girl.

I know it's really a 50/50 chance but still.

We did nothing special when I got pregnant with my daughter. Before we knew the gender I was hoping for another boy but deep down inside I knew I was pregnant with a girl and absolutely thrilled.

The only reason I was hoping for another boy was because I was terrified of raising a girl. I've only heard horror stories and raising my son has been pretty easy and is familiar. Potty training was easy with son, he has always be respectful, he listens and never threw a tantrum, etc.

I've heard that you should have sex before you ovulate to conceive a girl.

We have two girls and both times unintentionally had sex before I ovulated. With dd1 we just happened to have a busy day the day I got a positive ovulation test and the day after and we weren't able to be intimate. But we had sex the day prior to getting the positive. With dd2 we weren't exactly ttc so we had sex on a day that I thought was still far enough away from ovulation to avoid getting pregnant. But I obviously miscalculated haha. So for us having sex before ovulation resulted in us having girls.

I did nothing special at all. Altgough I believe I heard that girl sperm live better in acidic places

Absolutely nothing you can do to make yourself have a specific gender.

If u have the money, u can do ivf with gender selection. Its about $20K.

I tried all the methods for boy...diet, timing, positions....having my third girl any day now. Trust me, I wanted to believe it all too. We get what is meant to be and I am thrilled.

Maybe look up the shettles method. I think that's what it's called ?

According to me measuring a week behind this whole pregnancy, that means I had sex like 4-7 days before I conceived and got prego with a girl. I think that's the shettles method? But my ovulation ocurred 3 weeks after my period started so we got lucky otherwise I'm sure it would have been a boy

I'm on 5 girls, We barely hardly do missionary position, we also do a lot of different things. And as far as food goes goodness every time of conception we been on different diets. I don't think you can do anything at all.

I really wish it was true. I'm terrified of having another baby because I just know I'll have a boy. I REALLY want a girl. But I just don't think it's going to happen for me. I wish I could just do something special to ensure a girl. Lol.

The shettles method is worth a shot. I mean nothing besides ivf gender selection is 100% but I did successfully conceive ds2 using the shettles method. I didn't do the diet, I just timed ovulation and did the dirty in the suggested position.

I did! After having two boys we decided to try and have sex two days before ovulation and it worked! I finally have a girl! We didn't care this time so we had sex on ovulation day and it's a boy! I think timing really does make a difference with gender because boy sperm swim faster but don't live long and girl sperm live long but swim slower.

My sister is pregnant with her 4th boy, she tried everything since the second boy to get a girl. Nothing helped. You can't do anything

People swear by the Chinese gender calendar so if I ever try for a girl I'm going with that

We used the Shettles method for our 4th baby. We had 3 boys and my 4th wound up being a girl. Was it due to the method or just luck? Who knows. We would have been just as happy with a 4th boy.

Oh and pp the Chinese calendar says I should have 3 girls and a boy so there's that. It's pretty much a 50/50 no matter what ??

That's an interesting comment about looking at your SOs dad and brothers. Dh's bio dad has 4 girls and 2 sons. His sons have girls. And funny enough his girls have boys lol.

I do. It's kalled the shettle method. Am trying the shettle method rn for TTC a baby girl. I do believe it works. I've heard a lot a lot of stories of woman who have tried it and it has worked for them. You have to do everything right how it says or it won't work for you.

Nope. I've just accepted that I'm destined to have boys. Lol
