Wanted to share my baby boy & birth story. I was due Nov. 14, he was born 6 weeks early on October 6. He weighed 4 lbs, 12 oz. My blood was very elevated for at least 2 weeks prior, they decided an emergency c section was necessary. He spent 10 days in the Nicu. Most horrible time in my life without him. He is completely healthy and doing great! He now weighs 5 lbs. 3 oz. Thank you to all of the Nov. mommies for your continued support. God bless you & all your babies!

Glad your baby boy is doing well and putting on weight. Are you guys home now or since he's out of nicu did you get to bring him home?

Sorry it was such a tough beginning, but so glad you're home with him! If you planned to breastfeed, have you been able to do so? Just curious because I feel my baby may come early and I'm afraid that it could interfere with her feeding.

I tried to bf, but he would not latch. I tried pumping, and it was not working. The nicu drs put him in enfamil enfacare which is a higher calorie formula for premies. He's doing excellent on it, so I will just look let it be. Good luck bf!!
