The end of pregnancy is so crazy and surreal
I forgot how very strange this time is. I'm constantly aware of every little ache or cramp - hoping it's a contraction yet feeling terrified that it may be a real one at the same time. I'm overanalyzing everything people say to me thinking they're commenting on my whale-ness or pregnancy in general. I feel like I don't even know this child I'm about to give birth to, but I'm so protective of her. I can't imagine meeting her or what her face looks like, but I know I'm going to love her fiercely. Her name may be Baby Girl because my husband and I cannot agree on a name. I feel like I run through a whole gamut of emotions every day, but I put on a happy face for my husband and toddler. I'm scared that said toddler is going to hate me and/or baby sister for messing with her current routine. I want baby girl to come on her own which would preferably be now, but I am constantly struggling over whether to elect into an induction after my 39 week appointment tomorrow or to wait it out. I'm also struggling over whether or not to be a SAHM or return to work.

Oh man, you said everything I am feeling perfectly! Except the work thing, I'm so happy and grateful to be staying home. It's so mentally taxing at this point in the game. It's hard being pregnant in the end, but I'll easily trade it for the struggles of a newborn (or two in my case!). Every little thing runs through my mind every day and it's so exhausting.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do at your appointment. Soon you'll be in the next phase of life with your LO in your arms and hopefully all this will feel like a distant memory LoL
