Tips for surviving an ear infection?
My daughter has her first ear infection, and it's making her so miserable. It just breaks my heart! She's on antibiotics so hopefully we'll start to see an improvement soon but in the meantime dies anyone have any advice on how to make her more comfortable through this?

Ibuprofen and Tylenol! I can't live without them when I have an ear infection. They hurt!

Tylenol and ibuprofen if baby is at least 6 months. Alternate between the 2. We are dealing with our second ear infection now.

Thanks ladies - she's 7 months so we were just doing tylenol but after seeing our doctor are now alternating between the two and it's definitely making a world of difference! Did your babies seem less interested in eating? My daughter will only nurse for 5 minutes or so when she used to for much longer. I'm afraid it's going to mess with my supply...

My baby just got over her 3rd ear infection. Absolutely hate it for her. She doesn't eat as much when it's bothering her. She is usually back to herself a few days into the antibiotics.

Squirt some breast milk in there !!! It helps
