We have a lot of carters sleeping bags they work well enough Addison is a hot pocket though so lately she's just been in pjs the heat works a little too well in her room

My son hated being swaddled and was a terrible sleeper even in the halo sleep sack while in his bassinet. We have a rock and play and he ended up sleeping in that most nights up until recently when I got the magic Merlin sleep suit. 1- it keeps him nice and warm and 2- he has slept like a dream in it! It was designed to help swaddled babes transition out when starting to roll but I read a few reviews of moms who had success transitioning out of the rock and play using it. $40 in my opinion is well worth it!

We've been using the halo swaddle blanket but not doing her arms up in it anymore.

Last night we used a sleep sack instead of a swaddle blanket for the first time, and our daughter slept great! The only issue is that her little hands were freezing this morning!! Any tips on how to prevent cold baby hands during the night?

The kiddos just need to have their arms free, so sleep sacks are great! Many swaddled work as well, just don't swaddle the arms.

So glad you posted this!!! My lo sleeps SO WELL swaddled but started rolling too... I feel like just footie pajamas won't keep him warm enough? I've read that room temperature needs to be on the cooler side to reduce SIDS risk but it just seems so cold to only be in pajamas. Are sleep sacks safe if they're rolling?
