Ultrasound weight estimate

Had an in office ultrasound a week prior to delivery that estimated 7lb. Hospital did one at time of induction to verify position and said 8lb 14oz!! I said they were crazy, tech said it could be off by 25oz. Little man was born weighing 9lb 7oz! Everyone was shocked.

Estimated 8lb 1oz at 38+5 gave birth at 39+1 and she weighed 8lb 3oz

At 39 weeks I was estimated 8lbs 1oz and he came out at 41w2d 9lbs8oz

At 34 weeks they said he was weighing about 5 6 and said if I make it to 40 weeks he'll be about 8 pound

He was 8 10 so not too far off

They said 8lbs 10oz....... my son was 6lbs 10 oz

My ultrasound showed 8lb 7oz at 37w5d, and she was born 8lb 9oz at 39w4d

Waaaaayyy off! Was told a week before delivery that my son was 7.5-8lbs. He was born weighing 6 lbs even.... A week later! LOL

I had an ultrasound at 38 weeks he was measured to be 8 lbs 13 oz had him a week later at 39 weeks and he weighed 10 lbs 12.5 oz at birth so it was kind of close.

Mine was very accurate! I was past due and went in at 40+5 for ultrasound, they estimated 9 lbs 8 oz, she was born next day at 9 lbs even

They said my baby would be almost 9 pounds and she was only 7 pounds

Mine was only a few ounces off... She was 9 lbs 10 oz!

They said my baby would be 7.5 and she was 6lbs 13oz

At 38w they estimated him to be 7lbs. He was born at 39+2 at 6lbs 7oz, so I guess it was close.

I wish I knew with mine I only had a ultrasound at 20 weeks and that was the gender check. Going to have him tomorrow via csection and just every doctor appointment was heartbeat check.

At 37 weeks my son was estimated to be 6 lb 11 oz. He was born at 41+1 weighing 8 lb 6 oz.

At 37 weeks they told me 7 pounds 12 ounces and they were way off she was born one day shy of 40 weeks weighing 7 pounds 7 ounces, they seem to overestimate a lot

With my first they said she was 7.8 at my 36 weeks scan... She was born 5 days early weighing 5.6

Mine was pretty off. I measured 2 weeks ahead my entire pregnancy. At a 31 week ultrasound they were estimating 4.13 and he still had several weeks to go. Even as the doctor pulled him out, she said "this is a big boy!" Then they weighed him and... 7.2!!! I was expecting a 10 pounder !

Mine was close. At 37+5 they estimated him right at 8 lbs. He was born at 39+6 at 9lbs13oz. Given that they gain .5-1lb a week after 36 weeks, it was pretty accurate for me. Remember that those machines can be off up to 2lbs

Mine was way off. They said she weighed 6lbs 12oz and she weighed 8lbs 8.5oz at birth. I was so shocked! I was expecting a small baby haha.
