Baby Dropping - when will it happen ?!?
I'm 37 + 1 and yesterday at my appointment my midwife said that the baby is still really high and not engaged in my pelvis.. It makes me feel like the baby won't be here for a long long time lol :(

It can happen gradually. I wouldn't worry about it.

Is it your first baby? My midwife said that after your first baby it's not unusual for baby to not engage until labour begins. She said they can move really quickly into the right place.

@sticklet it's my first baby ! I've read that about second babies too. I've also read that for first babies it can happen from 4 weeks to 2 weeks before labour. I think my little guy is just stubborn lol

My first baby dropped super early and still went overdue and needed to be induced. My second baby didn't drop until I was in active labour. Things can happen pretty fast.... try not to be too discouraged!

Don't stress too much about baby dropping!
My first didn't drop until I was in active labor and my doctor broke my water.
It's not uncommon :)
