This is how I feel too. When I babysit other kids I watch them sleep or I have to hold them so I feel the breathing, so I know with my kid it will be worse. I keep thinking I will be sleep deprived because of it. I have no advice just letting you know I am in the same situation.
I am feeling the exact same way, not to mention I'm going to have a panic attack after leaving the hospital 'cause then it's completely up to me to make sure she is safe and sound. So scared I won't do a good job.? My DH leaves for work at 6pm and doesn't get home until 8am and then he's dead tired so he'll be going to bed... it's definitely going to be difficult especially being a FTM not knowing much of anything and not having my husband around as much as I'd like...
Yea I had the same anxiety with both my kids about bringing them home I didn't sleep well with either when they got home because I had to listen to them breathe at night
I had that same anxiety with my first. I slept for a while with my hand on his chest to make sure he was breathing. He was always fine but I still go in to check on him most nights and he's 3 ?
I'm really starting to have anxieties about stillbirth/SIDs right now because of all the horror stories. But this is also my rainbow baby so I might be extra anxious. Therapy helps. Journaling helps.

We can get through this, though!

This is my 3rd, I'm sure I'll still lose some sleep the first few months watching and checking on baby. ???

Oh lol so it really doesn't go away? Okay haha. Hopefully it will ease up after a few months
