Are you ever really ready ?!?!
Hey ladies, just wanted to put a question out there to everyone. Everyone tells me that you're never really "ready" for a baby, and that if you waited until the time was perfect, there would be no time left to have one. So I'm just wondering who here feels they are REALLY ready? Based on (stable job, financial independence, stable home, benefits, spouse is ready) etcetera.

I mean as far as finances, feeling "ready", good he, god jobs, yeah one could say they're ready. Its a matter of perspective I guess.

I would say I'm ready as I will ever be. I could always do with some more money and a bigger place but I'm sitting comfortably :).

Feeling ready is different.

Thanks ladies! I feel ready, and I think my boyfriend is just nervous and doesn't know what to expect. I keep telling him that you're never really ready, and whatever happens you just deal with it as it comes !

In my personal opinion, no. I don't think you could ever really be ready. Experienced or first time, every baby is different and comes with different things. Health issues, behavior, etc.. BUT You do what you have to do and everything turns out okay. :)
