I dont understand how circumcision, breastfeeding, and molding your babys head fresh out the womb became such a big deal all of a sudden so many wrongs and people against it, havent seen the problem back then with my other three pregnancy's smh this generation gets on my nerves 😒
Ok so not using actual numbers.. But everyone knows I'm over weight since having my girls. It's no secret. BUT i was talking with my hubby last night and idk how we got to this but he said something like (not using actual numbers) no one should weigh 800lbs, they should take care of themselves. And i said so what if someone weighs 800lbs? He said no one should weigh that, they should be healthier. I said well i almost weigh 800! I'm in the 790s. And I'm healthy. I may be overweight but i don't have any diseases, no high cholesterol, no high blood pressure, i don't have a bad heart, lungs, or anything else. So I'm healthy I'm just over weight. So then we argued about him having an issue with my weight.. Am i wrong in this? Because it really hurt my feelings.. I've tried sooo many different things to lose weight but having hypothyroidism makes you gain/hard to lose. And my medications for depression and anxiety cause you to gain also.. So it's very hard to lose weight.. But i didn't even know he had an issue with my weight until last night..
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Exclusively breastfeeding is stressful 😫. I'm so tired all the time but I want to wait to introduce bottles...I need encouragement! This was my goal from the beginning but it's all new to me so I just have to give myself time to adjust right? 😅
Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?

Man id take some of that weight loss. Bfing didn't help me lie weight at all. But I agree. Additional calories and nutrients from ensure could help. Added plus, even more hydration
deleted-user·
Yes, I agree! Try ensure to help you not lose weight. A friend tried it and worked well for her.

Yes. Skinny minny here! My jeans that were too big are now falling off!
My butt is the flattest!
I was 125 before pregnancy and now I'm 115. I'm so small like I was in high school. My clothes don't fit, & I miss my old body.my daughter is 14 months.
I feel like I eat enough but I always had a small appetite .
I really don't want to complain because I gained almost 70 lbs during pregnancy and would be freaking out if I didn't lose all that weight

If you're eating enough calories, then it could be hyperthyroidism.
I have lost more than I'd like too. I'm currently just trying to eat a ton, but I'm thinking I should go get checked. I'm also losing TONS of hair & that's another symptom.

Get tests to see if your deficient in anything ? Or maybe get back on your prenatal (or start one) ??? Im not sure what u should do but those are some suggestions , my mom is friends with a lady who when she was breastfeeding , it took so much of all the nutrients she had in her body, to the point where her hair was falling out and she even had a tooth fall out . She was deficient and started her prenatal pills back up and while her hair still thinned out a little, no more teeth fell out . She got back to her REGULAR pre pregnancy weight and even a little over .

I don't think I've ever been more than 103-105 not pregnant. When I got pregnant with my first I was only 98 pounds

Oh how I wish I had this problem jk but not jk

Thank you ladies it's good to know it's common and there isn't something wrong with me.
I don't exactly know how many calories but I eat very decent sized meals and snack through the whole day. Sometimes I even finish my husband's leftovers.
I would love to gain 15 to 20 pounds.
And yes pp I'll trade you. Lol
deleted-user·
You should be eating at least 2300 calories a day while nursing to keep up. Do you know if you're close to that?
deleted-user·
Try not to eat empty calories. Try more starchy foods like pasta and potatoes. Eat lots of chicken for protein. Try not to rely on shakes to much they can have lots of unnatural fillers and sweeteners in them that probably shouldn't go into little one.

I dealt with this too. 143lbs when I got pregnant and 163 lbs when I have birth. I was exclusively pumping and bottomed out at 104lbs. I struggled to keep weight on, finally after almost a full year of pumping, my doc said to call it quits. I am now pregnant with baby #2 and my daughter is 16 months. I am now 120lbs and half way through this pregnancy. I plan to pump for this baby too, just know I need to better my calorie intake.

I'm having the exact same problem.

You should have your thyroid checked. Pregnancy can mess with your thyroid pretty badly and if it's over-active it could be contributing to your weight loss.

Unfortunately I didn't get to EBF the twins (long story)...I wish I could have.
But I am in a similar situation. (I think I wrote about this recently)
My normal weight is 135-145lbs. I feel very confident weighting that. (I'm 5'4 btw). I'm about 120lbs now, and I can't fit into anything. I'm really struggling with the no weight gain issue.
I hope everything goes back to normal for you soon. I understand what your going through.
I drink "Boost" high protein shakes at least 5+ times a day. Im trying.
Good luck.? And definitely breastfeed if you can.

Thank you so much ladies. That makes me feel a lot better. I will definitely make protein shakes and get some ensure.
deleted-user·
My doctor said as long as you have a healthy BMI not to worry. I've been drinking up to 2 protein shakes a day and that has helped stabilize my weight some. Also, keep taking prenatals! Don't stop breastfeeding!
deleted-user·
That happened when I had my first. I did not like it! I gained my comfortable weight back after I quite breastfeeding. But I had to cut out alot while I was breastfeeding so that also did it. I loved my ankles cause usually I have cankles. Lol but my butt didn't fill my jean! No no!
Good luck hun!
deleted-user·
Don't stop breastfeeding! I lost a lot of weight nursing in the first six months, but it levels out eventually! Add some boost or ensure to your diet
