I'm the worst! I have no friends and when people here talk to me (I live in France) I act like I don't speak French because I'm shy and I don't like small talk

I was so close to making a friend on this app and she lived in the same town as me but she just stopped talking to me. Ohh well. I'm meant to be friendless. I like talking to myself anyway I agree with everything I say to myself best friendship ever lol

My only friends are the ones I made off of this app. One of my best friends is actually my cousin, we were raised together as brother and sister. Unfortunately my circle has gotten smaller because his brother died (also super close to him.) I've recently actually started becoming friends with one of the girls that my cousin used to talk to. They never ended up dating or anything and sometimes all hang out together. This was just here recently though. Lol

I didn't used to have friends. I was shy with high social anxiety. Then I moved out of state away from my family and my support. I forced myself to make friends and I've gotten pretty good at it! Like anything else worth doing, it feels awkward at first and takes practice. I reached out to R&R moms in my new area. I joined a moms group and my DH introduced me to a coworkers wife. Because I homeschool, I feel an added pressure to get out and socialize even when I'm not necessarily feeling up to it. It helps to keep me from reverting back to my solitary ways.

This is me! My husband is my only real friend. And my dog. I've lived here almost a year, haven't made a single friend, and all my old friends just kind of faded out when I had kids.

I wouldn't. I have a few very good girlfriends but one is my twin sister. Does that count lol. I can count my good friends on one hand though lol
