So my friend gave me a box of her ovulation tests today and I've never used them before. I told her I thought I was ovulating yesterday but maybe today. Well I went home and took one and got a positive. My question is, my hubby and I did it last night....we've been doing every other night so should we stick with that or do it again tonight?

I've just heard that bding every other night helps the sperm so I keep going back and forth wether to wait and BD tomorrow or just BD two nights in a row.
You should ovulate somewhere between 12 and 48 hours after the OPK comes back positive. Since his swimmers can survive up 48-72 hours, you should be okay, but it'd be best to BD again just to be safe.
I've read a few places that it's actually best to BD the day before ovulation, and not actually on O-day. This gives his swimmers time to mature and make it further up there to meet the egg and be ready when it is released. According to these articles, BDing on O-day doesn't give the swimmers much time to mature and make it there before the egg is done waiting.
Also, it's rumored that male swimmers swim faster than female swimmers, but female swimmers survive longer. So, if you're trying to have a baby girl, it'd be better to BD the day before ovulation, rather than the day of.
