Babywearing advice wanted!
My little girl use to love to be in the moby wrap in the infant hug hold. Now she is close to 12 lbs and too big for that hold but too small for the regular hug hold because I tried it and she just cried...I don't think she liked her legs spread like that. Is there another hold I can do? I feel like she is in-between. I also have the ergo and I tried that with a receiving blanket at the bottom to prop her up and she doesn't seem to like that either?? Help!

With my ergo I have her in the infant insert and I loosen the waist part just a tiny bit so her feet can hang down instead of out the sides.

They are old enough to have their legs apart. I asked my pediatrician.

I think they're still too young to have their legs spread apart no??

On the Moby website they have different ways to wrap with videos... My chunker lies the hug one... I'm of no help.

I agree with pp. Mine was used to the newborn hug, but she's too big for it now. I thought she was starting to hate the wraps and carriers, but it took finding her comfort spot and getting used to new freedom. She likes the Lillebaby carrier now and the wrap she's still getting used to. I loved the newborn hug and it was so much easier to do lol.

I have both of those. And she's fussy(was) with both. Honestly, for us, it's about practicing and "forcing" her to be in the carriers. (I don't mean force). I have the ergo and use the butt insert so she's higher up. It took a while for her to get used to it. I'd say, give it time. ( I think your right about the legs though, she's fine now, but didn't like it at the beginning. )
