I've also never thought about the backwards thing. Who does that? I've never tried to figure out what a name would be backwards. That's silly.

I love Lana and the backwards thing never crossed my mind or seems to be a problem for anyone with that name. I've never heard anyone call the singer Anal Del Ray.

I never thought of it spelled backwards but I actually like the spelling Lanna better if you are planning to pronounce it "lah na". I feel like Lana might be mis-pronounced as "lay na" often as that's how I was saying it in my head. I LOVE either pronunciation though.

Lana does spell Anal backwards which is why I wouldn't ever consider it. Although Lana itself is a very pretty name. And just remember, kids can be cruel; so your daughter might get a bit of name-calling once people realise.
