Found heartbeat Friday. Couldn't find yesterday

Awww - my midwife found my baby at 10weeks I said "oh that's where the Baby is?!" She looked so serious and asked "do you have a Doppler?" She told me how they cause unnecessary stress especially early on (for the worried mom who can't find it) I know my personality and me with a Doppler would lead to many unnecessary trips to the dr haha. She told me if I ever felt off to call and I could come in. I think it's great if you can find the heartbeat before 12 Weeks because it's tough! If you are nervous definitely call your dr.

Yep! I found it at 9+6 .... Loud and clear. ..then couldn't find it for a full 7 days finally caught the little booger for 3 seconds yesterday....decided to put the Doppler away for awhile now....that was the longest 7 days of my life lol

Thanks girls. I'm gonna try again tomorrow morning like I did on Friday when I found it. I have an appt Friday anyway so I'll ask then if I can't find it before. But I agree I should've just left it alone!

I found mine around 9 weeks for a few seconds, but my midwife couldn't find it at my appointment at 10 weeks. She wasn't worried, but we took a quick peek at work (I work on labor and delivery) and baby was dancing around. Depending on their position it can be hard to find consistently before 12 weeks or so.

I'm 10w1d i found it at 9w4d then found it again the following day tried again after that and couldn't find it. So I chose not to check any more. Maybe I'll try today! They say not to spend more than 15 mins looking so I don't. And if I don't find it I remind myself it's okay :) I'm fine and baby's fine!!!

Dude... This is exactly why I always stop myself from buying a doppler because I know this would happen to me and I'd stress and worry. I remind myself that with 2 of my babies, even my doctor couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler at 11 weeks and had to do sonos to confirm everything was ok. Those were the scariest sonos!

I found the heart beat at 9w5d and just tried again now at 10w3 and couldn't find it' I'm so not trying again. I have a scan next week so I'll just keep my fingers crossed untill then! Why do I do this to myself! I knew I should never of bloody tried in the first place! ☹️

So I found it again today but definitely needed a full bladder and baby was hiding more than the other day. It wasn't as loud. I'm definitely putting the Doppler away. I should never have gotten it! Thank you girls.
