I'm waiting til Monday for another draw. She said she was happy with the rise and that no need to do it tomorrow unless I was having pain or bleeding which I'm not....especially cause it's gonna be the weekend. Which is probably good cause I wouldn't get to talk to anyone about it and if it's low I would freak out all weekend ? I won't know til Tuesday what my level is. Yeah, it doesn't sound like you have low progesterone to start with. Will you get another blood draw tomorrow or Monday? This waiting and waiting is torture! Like a rollercoaster! It's smart of you to wait a bit for the sono, that way you'll know for sure. If my dates don't line up tomorrow I'll pretty much have my answer about this pregnancy too.

If this pregnancy is not successful I am going to look to see an RE. There's not too many people I can see cause of my insurance. I work for a hospital so they won't cover people outside the hospital network.

@jules your levels don't look low at all they look great! And the last one I think didn't double cause it's much higher now. I have good feelings about your sono!

I am getting probably 2 more blood draws my dr said and then sono after hcg reaches over 2000. (If) I think I'm gonna go ahead and make an appt for 7-8 weeks cause I don't wanna go in super early and not see anything and freak out. If I don't see anything later then I'll know it's a loss.

Thanks girls. My miscarriage was a missed one and I never even spotted even after baby was gone for 3 weeks. I would assume that progesterone was not a cause in that loss? I had a d&c since my body was not expelling it. I think she is under the opinion that it's not an issue.... I would like to know what it is but they won't do it ?

I'm sorry your doctor is not testing your progesterone... that's the first RX I asked for when I got preggo after my mc. I really hope everything goes smoothly for you! Thinking happy thoughts and looking forward to an update Monday

My doctor is always optimistic, which sometimes annoys me ? He says mine are close enough so it sounds like he would agree with what your doctor said. My progesterone level rising made me feel better, which is why I suggested checking it since a very low level usually lets you know if a loss is coming. What is the next step? Are you waiting for a sono or appointment?

Dr.s disagree on progesterone support. I have had three losses 2 early and 1 at 9 weeks and I finally got a new OB that thinks I have a leutal phase defect in my progesterone level which doesn't allow development of heathy uterine lining to support baby. She put me on prometrium to start 5 dpo and continue until 14 dpo, test, if positive, continue; if negative, stop progesterone so AF will arrive and try again next month. This new Dr. is confident I will conceive very soon. Getting a new OB was the best thing I ever did. She was incredibly validating! I am in 2WW and can test on Saturday. Baby dust to you!! And ask your doctor about progesterone support!

@jules what does your dr say about your levels?

Finally talked to my dr. She said it does not have to double only go up at least 55%. So she is happy with that. She wants me to go back Monday for another draw. She doesn't want to check my progesterone cause she says I'm already pregnant and she won't treat it. She thinks everything is fine so I'm gonna try not to worry. Idk why that other dr said it should double and got me all worked up.

Mine have been slow to rise as well. I agree that they should check your progesterone. I'm sorry you didn't get more reassuring news ?

They say it should double in 48 hours. They are gonna call me back after they talk to the dr but probably gonna get another draw tomorrow.

Stay positive. Are you going in for another blood test? Maybe your numbers need the 72 hours to double. You aren't too far off. Keep us updated!

Yeah if I didn't go down to medical records, fill out a form, and wait two weeks for the okay email I would get fired for accessing my own. It's sad that we have to jump through hoops or can't look in general at something that is ours

I work in a hospital too and I could access my own but I'm not allowed! Makes me so mad. Yesterday when I was waiting for my results I was at work and it was only a few clicks away but it's not worth getting fired over. ?

I'm thankful that I work in the hospital and signed a release to access my medical records on the computer. So I can go in and look at my results right away! Also not always a good thing reading he reports on my miscarriages. Double edged sword I guess.
