How long did you bleed after d&c?

3 weeks with the first one at 8 weeks.

6 weeks with the second, but that was after a term delivery

Ok I'm just glad that 2 weeks isn't abnormal. I read about how people hardly had any bleeding and my dr made it sound like it would be less than a period. ?

I had a D and C 11 days ago. Very little spotting the first week, and then I ended up in the ER on day 6 because I was hemorrhaging. Out of nowhere, there was a LOT of very red blood and clot after clot after clot. They were black and as big as silver dollars. I soaked through 4 overnight pads (and my pants...AWESOME) in a 3-hour window. The on-call OB told me to go to the ER, where they said I might need a second D and C. Such a nightmare. Ended up not having the second surgery because they were backed up in the ER and I was there long enough for the bleeding to taper to what they felt was a non-dangerous level. Brown spotting only in the week since. Going in for a second follow-up appointment tomorrow and feeling very nervous about it.

3 weeks for me. I stopped for about 24 hours then started again.

I bled lightly for 24 hours. I had a light bleed (2 days) about 6 weeks after.

Wow seems like everyone is different. I'll update on what my dr says tomorrow. I'm getting my hcg checked tomorrow too.

This Friday will be 2 weeks since mine. The first week I bled red blood, but didn't soak through pads, just a lot when I wiped. Then this week I started having brownish/pink looking blood. It has been going back and forth today from brown to red...I am just ready for it to be over! Then I know af will probably be within a couple of weeks :(

Had my appt today. Dr said it's normal until your hcg drops. That's why it's different for everyone. I'm actually not bleeding today! I got my hcg drawn and will get it checked weekly until negative.

I hardly bled at all, just wore a panty liner until 5 days after my D&C and boom, bright red blood and had to switch to pads. They never got soaked through or anything but wasn't expecting that. It's since now tapered off and I've been wearing liners for the occasional brown discharge. How are you symptom wise? I go to the Doc on Tues which will be 2 weeks after my D&C. My breasts aren't sore, my baby bump went away and my nausea and food aversions were pretty much gone right after the D&C. I was hoping to gauge my symptoms and see if that's indicative of my HCG levels. Getting testing and such so will be having protected sex until we get those results back. Thanks! Good luck to you too. ❤ my symptoms were gone pretty much immediately as well. My baby bump has gone now too. My bleeding is starting and stopping today. I hope that's a good sign that it's almost over. I took an opk for fun and it's still blazing positive so I know my levels aren't negative yet ?

My hcg was 274 yesterday.... and I've been spotting. Will recheck again in a week. Seems like it's just taking forever.
