Is it weird?

My kids school had an Easter egg hunt today. Each child was required to bring a dozen eggs stuffed with candy/goodies. My son came home with two eggs that had curad brand bandages in them...am I the only one who thinks that is totally bizarre?

Lol maybe they forgot until the morning of the party and just had to stuff the eggs with whatever they had ?

I actually think that's hilarious. ?

I can only imagine those parents first aid kits. I'm sure they have fall out shelters in their backyards and are fully stocked for Armageddon.

Maybe kid decided on insert & mum just didn't have energy to suggest it was a odd insert for an egg. ?

I let my DD take a 'snake' out with her today... It was DH's belt! Somedays it's just not worth the explanation & getting out the door is my only goal.

I don't think it's that weird, a cute non candy option. I would have chosen cute character ones though.

Could be from a mom of an allergy kid who knows it's frustrating to get all candy they can't eat.

That's pretty weird but like someone else said maybe the kid picked out what went into those eggs. Kids like weird stuff so whatever lol

Maybe that's why she put bandaids in lol.

Dd1 also loves them. She will even pretend to have an ouchie just to get one.

I read this before going to bed and then dreamed I was suppose to take a dozen eggs to my sons school for this and forgot ???

I guess my kids are weird-neither of them have any kind of affinity for band aids. Lol. And yes, some of them had cartoon animals on them, but most were plain. And don't worry, pp, there were all kinds of restrictions on the candy and at least 75% of the treats were organic (because organic sugar rots the teeth less, you know. ?)and all were peanut free. They also had a party where no sweets were allowed, so plenty of healthy celebration was had by all.

Maybe the kid stuffed the eggs and just put random things they thought the other kids would like in them.

What?? That's weird. Do they at least have characters or something on them? Lol

Yeah that is a little weird. My kids school does that dozen egg thing too and they've only ever gotten candy in their eggs

Yes, weird as all get out. ??? she could've given little strips of stickers that served the same purpose.

I think its weird to give kids candy in easter eggs at school, i think non sugary non allergy stuffed eggs are good.

He had a dozen eggs-most of which contained candy or little toys, but two of the dozen contained the bandaids, pp.

That's like getting a toothbrush when you're out trick or treating

What's weird is he only had two, shouldn't he gave a dozen also? If every kid took a dozen.

Lol no. I thought every kid likes bandaids ? maybe they didn't want to overflow the kiddos with chocolate
