Did my 4 year old wake me up at 5 am yelling "mom! Mom! Wake up! Wake up!" And as I startle awake and jump out of bed saying "what?! What's wrong?!" He says "you have to wake up! I wanna make a banana cake!" Little boy, you better climb back into your bed before momma catches you! ???

The recipe i used today is basically a scratch white cake recipe with banana added. I did a honey cinnamon butter cream icing as well, just to give it a little more flavor. I can post the recipe if you like.
The good news is, I'll be serving banana cake later if anyone wants a piece. Lol

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. I would have died laughing as I was taking his little booty back to bed. Haha. That is HILARIOUS!!!! My dd's come in sometimes at like 5 or 6 am, they are almost 3 and 4.5. I look at them both (or whichever it is) and say "is it daylight?" "No" "then why are you awake".... Followed by a "the sun still says it's bedtime go back to sleep" they are out in seconds. Lol
