You know you're exhausted when...
You put your last k cup in the keurig, turn it on and realize, as you hear the sound of dripping liquid, you didn't put your mug under the spout. ??? guess day 4 of sick kids and no sleep have caught up to me.

I got 0 sleep last night, LO has a plugged nose, but my bedroom is clean and the laundry is folded and I'll put it away when Logan is done eating. So overall, I'm starting the day okay.
deleted-user·
Ugh, so I'm not alone!
All the kids noses are stuffed up and dripping like faucets all at the same time. Baby isn't sleeping at all since he can't breathe?
Renee·
Yay for a clean room, dark!
I love me some avocado, but even I have to draw the line at adding it to coffee, grace!
Sick kids are no fun, Jbowe. My son has a temp and a horrible cough and congestion. My daughter has a temp and a "rash of unknown origin" (thanks, urgent care). It's a party over here. Hope your kids feel better soon!
deleted-user·
?? "rash of unknown origin"... sorry pookie, that sucks. I hope your babies feel better. Drug them up and hand them a bag of hot cheetos, that'll clear em right up??
Renee·
Right? Also gave me a prescription for antibiotics for my son but said he doesn't have an ear infection. Quality medical intervention. ? Thanks. They're on their second bag of hot Cheetos-I always follow it up with chaser of straight whiskey. Helps them sleep. ?
(Do I need to disclaimer that? Just kidding, folks. I don't give them booze. I save the whiskey for myself.)
deleted-user·
????sttaahhhppp pookie it's too early
I'm still trying to recover from last night
Renee·
The laughter. It keeps me from crying over my spilled (spilt?) coffee. ???
deleted-user·
I used the last of my coffee creamer in my iced coffee yesterday morning, took a big gulp and realized half the cup was grounds ????
No idea how that happens
deleted-user·
I got out of bed, went to the bathroom, sat down on the toilet, peed... And THEN realized I hadn't yet pulled my pants down. ?
So yeah, my morning's going great.
deleted-user·
Did you cry at the loss of coffee? Be honest, no one will judge you.
Renee·
Grounds in your coffee are the worst!
Sorry about your parents visit. I'm sure that's disappointing. Do the muffins at least taste good?
Sorry, Arielle, don't mean to laugh, but I've been in that situation. Nothing left to do but finish peeing and then find some clean pants.

I was just making coffee & making a bottle at the same time... I grabbed the formula to put in the coffee pot instead of the coffee grounds ?

My 4 year old woke me up at 2am running a fever.
Then, as I was getting ready for work, she wanted to be held since she didn't feel good. So, I was holding her and brushing my hair and she threw up all over her and I both. Hopefully it's just a quick stomach bug. The babysitter said her fever is down to 99.4 and she hasn't thrown up again, just doesn't feel good.
deleted-user·
Ugh I am right there with you! Both of my kids have had pink eye in the past week and now my youngest has a cough and fever. I have not slept hardly in the past 3 nights! My coffee made it into the cup though only because my husband sets up the Keurig for me before he goes to work.

My dd2 seems to be getting worse and my little brothers dad beat my mom and took him yesterday leaving his phone behind and is no where to be found :( we've been searching but there's nothing cops can do because of the custody agreement not being in courts yet
Renee·
Ugh, Marie. I can't imagine that would have been tasty.
That sucks, wander. I hope she feels better!
Jgray, I hope they feel better soon. Pinkeye is no fun!
Gabmo, that is scary. I'll be praying he's found soon!

I was woken up by a jackhammer sound on the side of my house at 615, 3 hours before my kids usually wake me up. I got dressed to go yell at whoever was doing it, and ready to call the president of the HOA to yell at him for authorizing work done on my house and not notifying me. Looked out the window and there was no one there. Yet the sound still filled my house. Eventually I realized that the bird chirping right after the jackhammer noise was a woodpecker. Apparently the pipe that is my chimney looked like a good tree to peck, and it reverberated down the chimney into the house.
deleted-user·
@arielle omg I just died laughing.
Renee·
Ha, stray! I hope he didn't wake up the kids!
deleted-user·
No, my oldest said he heard a noise, but it wasn't loud for him so he went back to sleep. My bedroom is downstairs right next to the living room where the sound was coming through. I was worried it would wake them
deleted-user·
I woke up to go to the bathroom and one of the men in my house didnt put the seat down so i dipped my a $$ in some frigid toilet water for my wake up call.
Renee·
Small positives, shell!
Oh my gosh! That is not the kind of wake up you want! You should dump some frigid water on them!
deleted-user·
Nope i made them take cold showers since i took my time with mine
deleted-user·
i was cutting up cucumbers for my salad, and put them in the boiling pot of potatoes...weird combo!
left the dishrag in the fridge (was cleaning up a mess)

It was going good before my SO left for work and then he turned into an ass. Trying to fight with me at 6am. Told him I'm tired of him talking to me the way he was and walked back to our bedrooms where the kids were sleeping. He left for work shortly after and I didn't say a word to him. He'll be home in 1.5 hours and I'm interested to see his attitude.
