Prayers and positive thoughts
Prayers and positive thoughts
A dear friend of mine's husband had a massive heart attack last night. He is in his late 30s and to my knowledge has no past history of heart problems. As of this morning, his prognosis is not good.

Thank you, ladies. He woke briefly yesterday afternoon and had what she described as an anxiety attack so they gave him meds to relax him. The doctors said the waking is a good sign,, despite the anxiety.
Thank you again for your prayers. I'll update as I know more.

Continuing to pray. Any signs pointing to improvement are wonderful.

Sorry it won't let me update the original post.
Another update (as of late this afternoon):
He has been upgraded from critical to stable.
His blood pressure is stabilizing.
They were concerned about kidney failure and the need for dialysis, but he seems to have stabilized enough to avoid dialysis now.
He has received 4 blood transfusions which seem to be helping significantly.
Thank you again for your prayers and positive thoughts, ladies. He is not out of the woods, but is definitely doing better than expected.

Another brief update:
He continues to remain stable with the help of medication. He is being weaned off the epinephrine and the sedation meds. In the next day or two they will start to wean the blood pressure meds and see if his blood pressure can be maintained without the meds.

A not so positive update: he has had multiple small heart attacks today. They are monitoring him and are concerned about him coding again. Please keep him in your prayers.
