Am I the only one that thinks this looks really unsafe?

that contraption is dumb
How can you even walk with this?
And @kpatrick yes it is that hard for some people. My daughter HATED being worn. Screamed and squirmed the whole time. Not that I would use a device like this but wearing her was not an option. Hopefully this baby feels differently about being worn.
Are you serious?! This product should be banned
Wow! Regardless of how much weight those caribeaners can hold, the fabric handling the actual weight is not the same rating...
They better have a solid legal team, whatever engineer signed off that design would be taking the fall.
What on earth? You wouldn't even be able to push the cart without kicking the seat. You'd have to walk like you crapped your pants. Terrible product.

I'm sure someone has purchased it. It was part of a baby expo-one of the mom groups I follow on IG featured it today. It just seems so much easier to wear your baby.
I thought this was something off American horror story at first... I think I need sleep lol.
People really do this?
I wouldn't do this. I do, however, want something identical to this but with grocery baskets to attach to a stroller. It gets heavy after awhile!
Wouldn't you kick it with every step? No, I'll wear my baby instead

It's called a lullabelay.
And no, pp, it doesn't attach to the base of the cart. The two points of contact are the two places it attaches to the toddler portion of the cart.
What is this called?
No no no. I would never use this ??
Their website is interesting... it says that the thing attaches to the toddler seat part which is attached to the wheel base. Apparently having it attach here and having the car seat roughly 4 in off the ground lowers the center of gravity so that the cart won't tip. It also mentions 2 points of contact so I'm assuming it also attaches to the very bottom portion of the cart?
I wouldn't try it with my daughter but it would be interesting to get one and test it out with some heavy weights in my car seat!
Oh hell no ✋
No. Just no. So many things wrong with this
?
Is it that hard for these people to wear their baby?
I totally understand a physical reason for not being able to, or if you had to do heavy lifting. But really?
This is no where near safe....
Yeah right , my ass is my baby going in there
ReneeМама двоих (младенец)
I didn't see that but I did notice that just about every picture the cart is loaded down-which makes me think it would unbalance the cart otherwise.
So I Googled it and one image shows a carseat in the FRONT of the shopping cart so you know you can slam your kid into shelves as you shopping!
ReneeМама двоих (младенец)
It's a strap and clip set up. I think it wraps around the handle and then hangs down.
I can't tell what's going on. The car seat is hanging from the cart handle?
And now I'm off to Google this! Just want to see how they think a toddler could sit in there as well haha
ReneeМама двоих (младенец)
It's from a company called fiddle diddle. They show pics on the website of a toddler sitting as well-looks awkward.
And what happens if you have a toddler in the cart aswell?? Oh hey little one let's go shopping so your sibling can kick the crap out of your seat and possibly you!
I feel like that would make the cart tip over!
ReneeМама двоих (младенец)
That's my thinking as well. It just doesn't look like it would be well balanced. Not to mention you would probably bash your knees into it.
You just clip it onto the cart?? What if it weighs too much and the cart flips over on top of the child? Or the clip breaks and the child gets hurt? ?
What the bloody hell! How can that be anywhere near safe! Nope just nope

Alm, that's totally different. I didn't mean that, I'm sorry, of course there are exceptions. I meant when it simply comes down to laziness.
Sounds like your little one is super sensitive, my first didn't like it either until she was older, and only daddy wearing her at places like the zoo.
