Driving music
Alright, ladies. I am about to embark on a cross country journey with my 3 year old, my 2 month old, a puggle and a dear friend who is crazy enough to want to help. We are going to be on the road for 5 days and we are going to need some music to survive. I'm going to be putting together a playlist. No genre is off limits! So, hit me with your driving music and traveling tunes...
Lala: I'll check her out! Thanks!
Purple: that play list sounds awesome.
Cfran:the expense definitely has been pushing this move back for us, but it became a necessity. The cost of living for our family of 4 is ridiculous-I can totally understand why you guys feel the need to wait to move back. Hopefully, it will work out so you can spend the time you desire with your parents. I was here in PA when my dad passed, and being so far away was so very difficult.
Dh and I would like nothing more than to move back home. If we only had 1 or 2 kids it would be a possibility. But it's so expensive to live there. With 6 kids to raise we feel that we need to stay where the cost of living is cheaper so they have a better quality of life. Once they're all grown up and out of the house we will definitely be going home. I just hope I have a reason to go back. My parents are up there in age and I can't imagine them still being around when that time comes. Then their memory will be too much to bear. I don't have much of a relationship with the 3 of my siblings that still live there. I guess it all depends on the situation when the time comes. I just want to spend the last few years of my mom and dad's life with them. I've already missed so much. ?
That's where we are planning on settling. I took my Philly born and raised husband there 2 years ago and he fell in love with it. It's hard being far from family-I've been in PA for 20 years and all my family is still in California. It will be nice to be near them again.
Amy: we're headed to yucca valley. It's where I grew up.
Jwlss: my dads family is all in the San Bernardino/riverside area!
Thanks, ladies for the ideas!

Anything that you grew up with is great for trips.
If you need something relaxing there's a pianist named ludovico einaudi who I love.
Jose Gonzales is pretty cool but I have no idea what he is actually saying most of the time lol
We are headed to a small town near Palm Springs, my hometown. Then moving to the San Diego area.
Where are you in Cali?
Lol, dragonlady! We are relocating to California from Pennsylvania. Prior to this morning it was going to be just me with the kids and the dog and then I gained some assistance! It's going to be a great adventure (that's what I keep telling myself, anyway!) but I can't deal with radio Disney for 9+ hours a day. You'll find me rocking on the side of the road somewhere. ?
No genre is off limits. I actually like eminem and I think I know otep. Any particular songs?

So we decided on a rabbit. A friend breeds them and is actually giving him to us for free! He's about 11 weeks old. Going to pick him up next month 🤗
*Not sure what my 12 year old is going to name him yet. Stay tuned.
To go or not to go ?
Okay so my husband is a heavy equipment operator. This year his boss is paying the whole team and their wife's to fly out to Las Vegas for an expo work thing. Well the problem is I will be 37 weeks, so I can't fly. BUT we can drive. It will be a 6 hour drive from Colorado to Las Vegas. My doctor said it is 100% okay to go because I'm showing a healthy pregnancy and she doesn't think I'll go into preterm labor and being a ftm I will most likely go over my due date or have a ...
