should hcg double?

I went to doc Monday due to spotting and cramping at 5 weeks had an ultrasound saw gestationalsac and a yolk sac but no fetal pole. I am measuring almost a week ahead.. So doc had labs drawn and on Wednesday it was 18,082 and today it was 26,000 it didn't double and doc doesn't seem too worried and has my last draw and an ultrasound scheduled for Monday! I am a worried mess! Anyone have any positive stories for me???

Just got home from my ultrasound baby is there heartbeat and all Yay! Relief!

My doc only checks every 3 days to avoid a scare.

Easier said than done but try to relax. And keep us posted!

They are some big numbers for 5 weeks as well.

Mine was only 5000 at 5 weeks.

Yea after a point they won’t double anymore that’s probably why they weren’t worried it can only go up so much

I think once your levels get past a certain point they take more like 3-4 days to double.

I just had my ultrasound and I am only 6 weeks. they couldn't find anything but an empty sac, I am rescheduled for 2 weeks from now. but kinda freaking out. has anyone else had this?
