induction was a flop
I was sent home pitocin turned all the way up and only dilated to a 3 and 50% effaced....Dr wasn't thrilled about doing a csection so he sent me home to try to labor on my own...I didn't feel A single contraction even hitting almost 200 on the meter...so let's hope I can go on my own
I had the same experience with my first baby. Admitted on a Thursday, induced, sent home Friday morning and then went into labor naturally on Monday lunchtime. Baby was born at dinnertime.
Frustrating for sure but sometimes they just really aren't ready. Hope you go into spontaneous labor soon. Good luck!

Sorry I been ignoring yall but I have been so miserable the past days I'M STILL PREGNANT my contractions would be strong for hours and it looked like I was gonna have a baby then everything just stopped so I got sent home. they said I have to wait till my appointment Wednesday so I can talk to my doctor about the next step. I HATE THIS 😢😢😩
so I want to have an at home birth so bad! my last baby was born vaginally with no complications, so I wanna tty it at home this time. the thing is, they don't do that around here. I wanna have a midwife present in case something goes wrong and I wanna know when and if I need to go to a hospital. now.. I live literally 1 min away from one. is it a bad idea to try it on my own? keep check of my own vitals, ect. ?

I was sent home even though I was having major contractions 😔. I denied the shot to stop labor because of the effects I got last time. So I was told my son will have a breathing problem. Now my fiancé wants me home with my mom to deliver. Today my contractions aren't as bad but they're still there. I'm so confused 😢
