Already ovulating for IUI?

So I had my follicle scan today, CD12. I had four follicles, but only one mature enough to possibly have an egg. I took an ovulation test this morning(cheap strip test) and it wasn't quite positive. They gave me a trigger in office and IUI is tomorrow am. I just took another ot(same test) and it's lighter than this morning. Did I already have my natural surge? It would be early for me, I usually O on CD15-16 naturally. I know IUI is all about timing, so worried it's messed up now!

Well if this IUI doesn't work you could do gonal f so that it can boost your egg quality! But fingers crossed this IUI worked!!

Just got done with our first IUI. Only one mature follicle around 18, but my husband's count shocked us. He had 95mil/83%mobile after wash. Two years ago we did IVF because he had under 4mil. Now wondering if it's my egg quality that's an issue? At least I feel like we are trying with IUI. FX!

I agree with Fiona! Don't test anymore. My follicles matured faster on the clomid too and I never got a surge. Good luck!

Goodluck!! The good news is the egg was still there and was mature enough and since they triggered you, you WILL ovulate within 24-36hrs so your timing is perfect :) I wouldn't worry about testing for your surge anymore.

Keep testing- I remember when testing for ovulation it was stronger afternoon/evening- not sure why... but make sure you hold urine for a couple hours or more to build up.
