@jenn did you do a trigger?

My RE does my IUI the day before ovulation and it worked for us once.

@expecting-yup 24hrs after trigger. I had 5 on my right side, one was 20mm, second 13mm, 3rd 9mm and the other 2 were not measurable. I did have one on my left but I do not have on that side. They gave me an option to do a second one tomorrow or just have sex the next 2 days. They said success rates haven't shown a change between 1 or 2

@jessica really? So yours was in a 24 hour window after trigger? Well, I hope I at least have a descent sized follicle to move forward. Going to do whatever they suggest.

Hi! I went for my scan yesterday and they had me trigger in the afternoon. My iui is scheduled for today

@maddie the practice I go to has three locations and the one open on thanksgiving is an hour and a half away. It's just hard because I have two Thanksgivings that day and family staying with us.

@jah Yeah if my follicles are at the right stage it seems likely it will fall on Thursday. We will see

I am doing my second IUI cycle currently CD 8 I have my ultrasound Nov 21 hopefully I have good sized follicles to do IUI the day before thanksgiving because my office is closed on thanksgiving last cycle I did my trigger the night of my ultrasound and did IUI two days later

They have to be open. They wouldn't let you start a cycle knowing it could fall on a day they were closed. My clinic only closes on Christmas Day, so they won't let you start a cycle if there is even a potential of it falling on Xmas. Good luck!!!!!

You will be fine either way. I am keeping everything every appendage crossed for you. In case it is thanksgiving - it is actually pretty cool, because you can relax with your loved ones. And the commute will be fine- you can sit back, relax and dream of babies first Thanksgiving

@fiona Thanks. I thought it would be close to or on that day. I guess I will know more on Tuesday. I don't think they're open that day in my local office and the main office is an hour and a half away! I don't know what the plan will be, not going to stress though.

You might have to do the IUI Thursday! Depending on how big your follicles are! OR if they make you trigger that night you will flrsurs go in Thursday.

Try not to stress your body about having to do a possible IUI on thanksgiving, after all what a great blessing it would be if you conceived on thanksgiving ❤️️
