Effaced?

At 37 weeks I was 50% effaced and 1cm. Now 38 weeks 70% effaced and still 1cm. If I keep progressing like this, will I be close to labor at 39 weeks??

I was dilated at a 1 and 50% at 33 weeks. I'm not 37 weeks and only at a 2 and 70%

You never know-

I was 3cm dilated 90% effaced and baby was stationed at 0 at 35 weeks.

Doctor said any day- and her I am at 36w3d and still nothing lol.

With my son I was dilated 1cm from 28weeks to 36 weeks-

So you could go into labor anytime or u could stay the same.

I've been 1cm since 35 weeks I'm at 1.5cm at 39 weeks smh I'm stuck

So I just left the doctor and I found out I'm 1cm and 50% effaced... So I'm just ready to get this ball rolling lol

Is it normal to already be dilated 1cm and 60% effaced at 34 weeks?

mommagotbump16 It definitely can be! Everyone's different of course, but sounds pretty normal 😉
mommytosarahi can someone explain to me what effaced means?

I am only 1cm dialated but % 50 effaced, and Zoey has dropped and is in perfect birthing position and her heart rate is 134 :) I'm so excited!

Contraction questions

I had a membrane sweep today. Before the sweep I was 3-4 dilated & 75% effaced.
