My 4 year old boy was always a solo player. Like your child, he'd rather collect leaves, sticks, and be near me. My 2 year old boy, on the other hand, loves to interact! He hugs and bugs kids ?

My dd prefers to just go around collecting leaves and debris to give to me. I try to encourage her to go say hi and go over to them but she just hides in my legs ?

My 16 mo daughter will sometimes play with her brother and sisters if they like play monster and chase her around she will run and laugh. But most of the time when they do try to play with her she just gets mad and slaps them in the face or hits them for no reason. She just likes to play alone most of the time.

Usually around 15 months kids do a thing called parallel play. They play along side each other but don’t actually engage much with each other. I notice my son doing this.

Dd2 is 18 months and plays with dd1 (5 years old) a good bit. Lots of imitating what she does. She’s funny because when dd1 gets out of the bath, dd2 likes to “push” her to her room and then she pokes her belly button lol.

It’s real hit or miss with my daughter. Sometimes she will yell at them. I think she’s talking them to leave her alone. Sometimes she laughs and laughs and loves them. ?‍♀️

My little boy is 18m and he just tends to follow my friends daughter (2.5) around. And if she doesn't want to share her toys her mum will take one off her and give it to my son and he just hands it back to her daughter ??

I have a 12 month old. She gets really excited when she sees other little kids. She runs up to them and hugs them lol she follows them around and laughs at everything they do. She has no interest in little babies tho. I guess she finds little humans amusing ??‍♀️?
