Is she a Leo?! ? sounds about right. Independent interests are beginning to form so frustration will also. I'd try to distract..offer something .. etc.

She's a Virgo with fire tendencies. She doesn't redirect easily. She'll take the toy i offer and throw it ?.

My LO started them around 10 mo when he started walking, hence getting into everything lol. I would just try to redirect him, which worked sometimes. I would also remove him from the situation entirely, while telling him "No, don't touch, let's go play somewhere else," which a meltdown insued almost immediately after every time. But, oh well, they have to learn!

Move the pets food out of reach during your visit or don't put her in a walker. Some situations aren't worth the fight. She's not too young to understand that she's not getting the space and freedom to explore that she wants. Sometimes taking away the temptation is better than trying to force a boundary, especially for a child so young.
