It still happens and ds is two now! I don't think it's something you ever get over.

Dd is 9 months and every now and then it happens as I'm getting her in bed. And when I'm holding her i keep thinking "just a little longer" ????

All the time! I cried this afternoon watching her nap on the baby monitor. She's just so innocent and pure! She gives me so much purpose. ?

Yes and the time. Just looking at her makes feel this thing my heart that I can't explain and makes me want to cry and just hug her.

Absolutely, all the time. His first few weeks I think I did ? I still get teary eyed sometimes.

Yes! I wasn't like this with my first I don't know why but with this one when he's blabbering away at 2 1/2 months I have tears in my eyes..im cherishing my moments with him more knowing he's my last and I'm not coping well everything he does has me emotional

Yes and I don't think if I have another baby I could love them more than I do ds. Idk why...

@jessica I am the same way! I sometimes feel bad because I love my first child to death but my second has got me wrapped completely around his little baby finger. Maybe it's got something to do with the fact that I'm pretty sure he's my last child. I seriously cherish every moment and I'm always in awe of everything he does.

My son is 5 and it never goes away, love only grows ❤️

Oh yeah. I did when she was a newborn a few times just holding her and looking at her and feeling the amazement that she is mine. Now that she's a toddler, she sometimes has a certain look in her eyes and I see myself in her and I feel such a bond with her.

Oh yes, I remember doing that when my son was a few weeks old. I would just cry and cry over how beautiful he was, he was mine, and he was so innocent. I'm tearing up now. I STILL get emotional thinking about him. You just don't know what love is until you have a baby. Well that's how I feel anyway.
