Daddy issues...
Normally SO is so great with dd. He is very proactive in taking care of her and spending time with her. She loves playing with him and is very content to just be with him.

Kids go through stages where one parent is the favorite. I would talk to him and let him know it'll pass, when my son only wants me we don't push him to go with his dad. I've noticed that when we did push him to go with him he would get even angrier and want less to do with him. There are times where dh is the favorite too and I won't even try grabbing ds because he should get his turn too.

How old is your lo? My DD just turned a year old and most of the time she just prefers me.

We went through the same thing! Dh wanted to hold and console because sometimes I just have to get stuff done and daddy is there. We chose to let dh hold baby and cry. It lasted a couple weeks.

Dd gets bored with me or dh sometimes. There are days were she prefers dh or me. But I think it's just a phase

Dd is 5 1/2 months. I've had to let her cry with him a few times while i take a shower and she ends up choking on her own spit. I hate letting her cry. But SO is starting to get upset about all of this. His feelings are hurt even though he says it's no big deal. He says he feels like dd hates him. I don't know how to help. ?

Both of my kids went through this. DD started a bit earlier than DS doing this to dh. My DD didn't want much to do with my husband from the time she was about 2 months until close to 5. When he would come home from work she would just cry and fuss if he got near her because she didn't want to go to him. It hurt my husband's feelings, but after that she had no problem with him. I wouldn't let her CIO with him, because she may associate that feeling with being him. It may end up making it harder to grow out of that phase. DD is almost 3 and some days she's a complete daddy's girl, some days not. With my DS it didn't start until he was about 7 months and went on until he was over a year. He's 15 months and still has his days. His was more separation anxiety from me, he'd calm down after a few minutes with dh, but I'd have to leave or he wouldn't stop.

At night I'm seriously considering bed sharing because it's so difficult on both of us and i know she's sleep good. I'm just worried about regretting letting her sleep in bed with me.
She sleeps just fine in her crib until SO gets home then all hell breaks loose. She starts waking every 20 minutes to look for me.

Maybe transition her to her own room so she won't know when he comes home at night?

Is she breastfed? She may be teething and looking for you for comfort...

There was a time when our dd couldn't be soothed by dad and wasn't happy to be left with anyone but me for long. It'll pass

She's breastfed. We thought it was teething but she isn't showing signs of it. We are currently in a 1br until June SO there is no other room to put her in.

DD "liked" DH for roughly 3 weeks, then he left for training until she was almost 3 months. He would only see her on weekends.
It took some time but I sat there and told him what I did to help her. Showed him how to help and I even talked to her. If she was inconsolable I did take her from him.
We just had a huge span (3 weeks) where she literally didn't want me, not even to eat and we breastfeed. It was hard for me but DH loved that he got all the cuddles and love. I was glad that he got time.
Shes 8.5 months now and still has days where it's one or the other but night time it is always mommy. Same with naps. She doesn't sleep on or with anyone else.

That's the thing pp he knows what works for her she just doesn't want it from him ?

DD goes through phases like this. If it isn't working for one the other takes over until the phase is done.

My dd went through this for a couple months, she would scream bloody murder if my SO tried to put her to sleep or went to her in middle of the night. It got to the point were I left the house a couple hours before bed time and wouldn't come back inside till she was asleep. It was the hardest period for all of us but now she has no problems with falling asleep for anyone and they definitely have a better bond!
