embarrassing registry items?
embarrassing registry items?
Maybe I'm the only one slightly embarrassed by it. Did you put things on your registry like nipple cream, breast/nipple pads? Or did you leave those items off and just purchase them yourself?

I use Baby List and it's all online and you don't have to stick with one store. Check it out! Then they have links to share on all social media.
Ah registry was a joke, spent hours at 2 stores beeping items on and no one got me squat from it!
Hahahhahahhh yah I had all of those items in there.
I didn't put it on there. *Correction* I HAD some of those things on there, and my mom (her friends are throwing me a shower) made me take them off because "that's the kind of stuff you buy yourself." ? Ugh I don't really see the big deal, but it also wasn't worth the argument!!! I say do whatever you're comfortable with. Those aren't the big ticket items anyway!
I didn't have them on my registry but I don't think that's embarrassing at all I really didn't use them I alternated between Vaseline and baby oil and that worked great my nipples healed really fast even though I had a blood blister
I did because then you get the whatever percent off coupon to finish your registry and you can get them a little cheaper if no one gets them for you.
I put the postpartum underwear on mine for after my c section haha! The little things like baby shampoos and lotions and outfits, I kept off. My son was only in the white onsies most of the time and we were always changing his outfits because he threw up a lot. So there was no point in getting cute little clothes until we got professional photos at around 4 months old haha
I put it all on there and no one seemed to notice and got me items for formula feeding ?
That's just stuff I purchased myself lol
I never thought of it this way & it was on my registry lol idk but word of advice on that you should start using it a few weeks before your due date that's what I did & it helped out so much I never had pain when I tried to breast feed even though my milk never came in ?
I didn't because my dad was there.
I never thought of it as embarrassing... I totally had nipple cream and breast pads on my registers
Before I go to a baby shower I find out if the mom plans on breastfeeding. If she is I make a nursing basket full of items like nursing pads and soothing balm. You would hate me. ? I promise it's no biggie.
Not embarrassing. Don't worry gurl, if you've breastfed a baby, you've had cracked nipples. Lmao Noone will think anything of it.
I put them on there. It is a little embarrassing to me, but its just a fact of life so I figure I need to just get over it.
I hate baby showers but anything and everything people buy for you is 1 less thing you need to worry about and waste money on.
I would put those on the registry!!
I called them 'womantries.'
My mum and sister got them for me.
Not embarrassing to me at all and actually very useful.
I put granny panties on my registry for after the birth.
It's not embarrassing but I bought my own because I wanted to be sure I had it. But like PP said, coconut oil works SO much better than any nipple cream I ever used!
I don't think those items are embarrassing. Breastfeeding is natural. However, I bought them myself and didn't add them to the registry.
I was also embarrassed to put that stuff on there! I just got it myself.

Thank you for everyone's input! I'll probably add those items.
I had them on my registry, they were bought for me, and I used everything! So very helpful and appreciated

I'm honestly not sure why I'm so shy about it. I'm hoping to successfully bf so obviously someone will eventually notice.
Maybe it's like when your 13 and buying tampons for the first time then after awhile your like 'screw it!' And have no shame. Lol
No I'm pretty sure I had those on my registry. And I even bought a breast feeding kit (made my own basket) of those essentials. Those are things u don't wanna have to run out to get right after baby is born. By FYI coconut oil worked better for my nipples then those lotions ever did. Just wanted to let u know that
Not embarrassing at all. I put them on my registry and they were bought for me
I put them on there...I didn't really see it as embarassing. Lol
If you did a registry on Amazon did you get any samples in the mail

So I did my baby shower registry today and feel like I went a little overboard I don't except everything to be bought but ended up with 70 items. curious on how.many items.you.ladies ended up.with on your registry?
Random facts! Did you know that Similac is short for "similar to lactation"?
Any ladies did a registry at Target? If so when did they send you your 15% off coupon?

I put them on there not really expecting anyone to buy me any of those items, more for the coupon you get after. I was surprised when a family friend included breast milk storage bags in her gift lol.
