Red tush Everytime I use cloth a full day my daughter gets a red butt. Why!???

What is your wash routine and what kind of detergent?

All free n clear warm wash cold rinse extra rinse. I'm very new to cd I can only do it part time due to daycare not allowing cd. I have pockets with mf inserts.

If I use all my lo gets red I switched to tide and he is never red anymore

I would try adding another rise and if that doesn't work I'd switch detergent.

what materials are you using? it's common for lo to be sensitive to certain fabrics such as suede cloth

We had issues with severe build up with All F&C, you might try switching detergents.

I will do a rinse before a wash if they are heavily soiled. And sometimes I forget the extra rinse. Maybe I should get some coconut oil to use as a barrier and that could help? I have alvas, and a few no names of shopdiaper.com happy flute, sunny baby, baby city.

I would rinse before detergent everytime even if the diapers aren't heavily soiled. If you don't you're just washing the diapers with the urine.

You definitely need to rinse before you wash! All you are doing is washing is dirty toilet water!
