Thank you, Steph!! I really appreciate that. Ultimately, I decided to stop the progesterone and accept that this pregnancy must not be viable. My numbers have been low and slowly rising with progesterone at 6 only with suppositories so I think I was trying to hold on to a shred of hope, but really prolonging the inevitable. My empty sac measured 4w5d yesterday, but I technically should be around 7 weeks at this point after my FET with much higher numbers. Thank you for all the encouragement and kind words!

The body is a strange, sometimes cruel, and yet a wonderful thing... You're still in my thoughts and prayers.

Ultrasound showed the sac was bigger, but still empty. Dr. still doesn't think it's a normal pregnancy and thinks it is just the placental tissue that's continuing to grow, but she will do another ultrasound next Tuesday and then decide. She wanted me to stop the progesterone suppositories, but said if I really still want to take them she will let me until the next ultrasound so I will continue them for now. Beta went up to 645 from 416 and progesterone is still 6.

Update? How did your ultrasound go this morning?

Beta is up to 416 from 307, progesterone went up to 6.2 (because of my suppositories I'm on). Ultrasound still scheduled for Thursday morning. My bleeding has slowed down too.

I started bleeding this morning so I'm guessing I'm passing things on my own, but it's not heavy at all so I don't know. Still waiting on blood test results this afternoon.

Hummmm it could be possible that two implanted and then one didn't make it and the other did . Fx for you ??sorry you're having this uncertain time but I'm hoping for a positive outcome for you !! I'm glad you're taking progesterone

Just talked to my doctor and my beta increased again to 307 from 170, progesterone is still only .5. She said if I want I could try taking the progesterone suppositories, but she said that may just prolong the inevitable. She just doesn't know for sure. She still thinks it may not be a viable pregnancy because the numbers are so low, but she will monitor it. She is still unsure how the number keeps increasing when there is no progesterone to support it. I am going to have another ultrasound on Thursday to check it again. So in the mean time, I'm going to take the progesterone suppositories anyway at this point "just in case".

Update again: On my ultrasound this morning, we saw what looks like a sac in my uterus, but my RE is still baffled as to why since my levels are so low. I'm waiting on blood test results this afternoon for my beta and progesterone again, but she thinks it probably is retained tissue.

Maybe you had twins and just missed carried one possibly

Gosh, I was hoping it was a new pregnancy! Sorry you're having to deal with this! Hope you get some answers soon!

Update: Beta went up to 170 from 111 and progesterone is .7 now from .4. I have an ultrasound on Sunday morning so Dr can see if I have any retained tissue in my uterus. ? Dr. said not to take progesterone suppositories still when I asked again.

Since u got ur period a week ago on the 23rd and started clomid presumably on 2nd day, i dont think u would have time to ovulate and for the fertilized embryo to implant all in 7-8 days.

Another beta and maybe a scan would help to check if the uterus is still thick and get more answers.

Just got a call that my progesterone was only .4! They don't think it's a normal pregnancy at this point and have to wait to see what tomorrow's blood work shows. ?

I think it's new pregnancy, if beta went down to 7 and now 111 that means there something growing

remaining tissue will not result in increasing ur beta
