It's called the hook effect i guess lol i just had to look it up... Look up sam and nias toilet bowl pregnancy test or the hook effect explaining faint positives.

I saw a video on youtube about a girl dipping her stick in the toilet bowl i forgot what the effect is.... I think she talked about hcg being too high that it can cause a negative i saw it a while back but for sure look it up hope that helps

Hmm..so I guess there is at least a SLIGHT chance it could actually be positive.

I don't want to get your hopes up but I've heard of adding water to move the dye along and clear up the window... But that's it... I hope you get your bfp

It looked VERY positive and showed up as soon as I added the water along with the control line. I will definitely buy another test to be sure but I thought it was strange how positive it looked.

I don't think water would effect it because I don't think water has any HCG in it. But I kinda don't think you should rely on this test since it wasn't done correctly. It could be a false positive even though thats super rare. Could it have been an indent line?
