13 hours. Hat & blanket.

We went over to hospital to have newborn health check then popped to grocery store. Went out again maybe 3 days later.

Day three I think. Only wasn't earlier as I wasn't well enough to go out and baby was on the boob constantly so couldn't go without me.

I waited 6 weeks to take her anywhere besides the doctors. Even now, she is 12 weeks today and we don't leave too much. She's never been to the grocery store only the doctors, church and my sisters house. I'm way too nervous about her catching RSV and it's so cold here. Regularly negative degrees with feet of snow. It's just such a hassle to leave. She loves to eat and is ebf and won't take a bottle.

At 10 days old my husband insisted we take our daughter over to see his family because his siblings hadn't seen her yet. Then he and his dad took our car to run an errand and disappeared for hours. I ended up finding out they had stoped somewhere to watch a football game. I eventually called a friend to give my daughter and I a ride home because his 4 teenage siblings were stressing me out and I was exhausted. This time I'm telling him if his family wants to see the baby they can come over to our place. I am refusing to go over there when we have a newborn this time.

We waited several weeks before we went out. Maybe 3 weeks? We had many many doc appointments that she had to go to though. Because she was having trouble gaining weight & we kept having to go back for weight checks.

After we were discharged from the hospital....maybe the next day if I'm super exhausted from surgery. I can't stand being cooped up.

They stayed in their carseats and just didn't allow strangers to touch them.

I think DD was about a week old. We needed groceries. I was nervous about getting used to going out with a baby so I just kind of bit the bullet lol

Same week had to go shopping... all precautions taken, and call me rude but I didn't let any stranger touch my baby... if they would approach me with a smile, talking about how cute I JUST CONTINUE WALKING #SORRY

Went out to dinner after being discharged from the hospital, then the grocery store the next day. Pretty much carried on with life as usual just with an extra person to cart around ?

A month. Took him to church for the first time at 5 weeks old. Then we didn't go anywhere for a couple more weeks.

My daughter is a preemie, so once I got her home from the NICU, she didn't go out of the house unless it was necessary (doctors appointments) for about the first 3-4 weeks, and I only let select people come to the house and visit with her. I'm still very selective about who she is around! When I take her out with me, she's covered up almost the entire time.

A month for all of mine. But I can't see anything wrong if you wanted to go much sooner. I had sections so I wasn't hobbling around to shat with a baby in tow lol ?

The day we were released from the hospital. I didn't take any precautions, really. She slept the whole time.

5 days after being born. I dressed her warmly, it was april, and didnt let strangers touch her. Its not that complicated.

About a week and a half old. We just made sure he was dressed appropriately and covered with a blanket. I also didn't let anyone come to close or touch him for a couple of weeks.

I would've taken him out sooner but my feet were so swollen I couldn't put shoes on.

All 4 of our kids were out and about the day we got discharged, so like 24 hrs old. The more kids you have, the harder it is to stay inside. Not that I've ever tried to keep a newborn inside. I've never had a problem with strangers trying to look into the carseat thankfully. But in the color months I have a carseat cover. I just make sure they are dressed right.

I went to the store the day after we had been home and visited family the same day. I just made sure who ever held her wasn't sick and I carried her through the store so she never touched anything.

At 6 days old I was walking all around Walmart with my baby. She was in her car seat the whole time sleeping, covered up, and zero contact from anyone expect me. No biggie. I think it helps with getting their immune system stronger.

Same as the ladies anywhere within a week. She had her newborn photos at 6 days old but the day we got discharged we went to Kmart to get some specific underwear because of my c section. She was in a capsule connected to the pram with a light muslin cloth on top. All was good!

My husband and I are hispanic so culturally For us we wait a month before taking baby out. But she will be born in summer so I'm not sure

With my first I took him out when he was 5 days. He stayed in the pram unless he needed feeding or changing.

With my second bub was 2 weeks old I think. It was much harder leaving the house by myself with a 14 month old as well as a newborn so I waited a bit longer.

We carried on with life as normal with each baby and they were all just fine ?

OK that makes me feel more at ease. We have a car seat canopy over his car seat at all times and I'm super paranoid about hand washing and sanitizer for the whole family.

Those are so cute @cupcakes

We were out right after we were discharged. For DS we went to the nursing home (to see my grandma) and than the grocery store the next day to pick up things he needed.

DD I think a week after but I was busy with two babies so it didn't cross my mind much
