Collections Do you, your SO or children collect any items?

I have a collection of kids I'm looking to sell to the highest bidder. ?

I don't collect anything but my brother used to collect comic books and baseball cards. He passed away some years ago and I have that collection. I doubt I would ever part with it.

I have collected so many things over the years. One is plastic salt & peppers from the 40's. I'd post a pic, but I'd have to dust them. lol They are funky and cute and depict things like ringer telephone, hat rack, toaster, etc.

DH collects comic books and coins.

I collect nail polish. I do a lot of crafting (crocheting, sewing, scrap booking), but I wouldn't say I collect supplies so much as hoard them ?

My 6yr old son collects soda tops for the Ronald McDonald house. He's got quite a bit!!! I love seeing his face light up when we deliver them. He always thinks of others first! He's a great kid. He didn't start until I had to stay there while the twins were in NICU. He even has a few family members/friends that save them for him to give away too. ☺

My 13yr old collects "snow globes". He has over 30+ and started when he was about 6. Some are Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and ones he got in Tennessee or places we vacationed. I think it's neat.

I guess I would say pictures. I have over 5,000 or more. 2 large suitcases to be honest. Only approximately 50 from my childhood, but mainly ones from the past 13yrs. ?

DH collects 49ers gear. I collect designer perfumes, nail polish , shoes and pocket books . Typical ??‍⚖️ here

My mom collected crystals and grateful dead things. I did a school project in 5th grade about rocks/crystals for the science fair. Lol

We collect 50p's and £2 coins with different face pictures. Don't know how to describe it lol.

I collect converse! I have them in seriously EVERY color I think. Hubby HATES it! He doesn't understand why I NEED three different shades of blue(especially since I'm colorblind)! He says I wouldn't even know they were different if I didn't read the box so why have em?!?! I kindly point him to the million gun safes and tell him to shut his face!!

Well shat, I just realized all these guns won't even do us any good in a zombie apocalypse. They're already dead right, so what's a gun gonna do?!? So I guess we have no real legitimate reason to have them!

My husband collects guns.... SOOOO many guns. Which require gun safes so I guess you could say we're collecting safes too!! You can't shoot like 200 guns, WHAT are we doing with these?!?! When the zombie apocalypse hits y'all head to Oklahoma, we got you covered.

My son has been collecting acorns recently, for about 2 weeks...its driving me and my vacuum nuts.

DH collects Sports Illustrated, and various other sports memorabilia.

I don't collect anything but dh collects Jordan's and it's super annoying. ? he takes up most of the lower closet with his shoes.

I finally got him to donate the ones he no longer wears and he's down to 10 Jordan's from like 25. Plus his other tennis shoes.

SO collects cards. Sports cards (football) and magic the gathering. Honestly I hate it. Its never ending, they get super expensive and they are everywhere in our house. Some displayed in cases, some of low value stacked on the mantel, we have one whole bedroom assigned for cards. I'm talking thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of them. Autographed, pieces of jersey (in the card). Its crazy. A few years ago we qent through a hard time and needed cash. He spent 7 hours at a card shop going through his magic the gathering cards with the owner and came home with $3500.

I have lots of vintage green glass, but I wouldn't say I collect it...

I don't think my collection of soaps, lotions and makeup counts lol. I collect I Love Lucy stuff and also ceramic dogs. I don't think my dh really collects anything other that tools lol. My oldest daughter collects sock monkeys. My other daughter collects cat/kitten things. My son collects Ninja Turtle things along with super hero/action figures

DH collects Star Wars figures. Together, we collect silver coins and bars. That's an expensive hobby, but kind of an investment.

I collect elephant figurines. My husband collects junk, lol. He likes to build computers. He will seriously keep tiny bits of wire, computer chips (that he admits are useless), tiny screws, etc. None of it is organized. It drives me mad!!

I like anything Nightmare Before Christmas, some Disney stuff, dragons, black cats, birds, Norse looking stuff, skulls bones, feathers. I used to collect action figures like Spawn, still have a bunch in there own packaging, now I only buy something I really like here and there.

We collect holiday barbies for DD she gets one every Christmas and they are displayed in box in her room.

I dooooo! ✋️ I collect those pennies that you squish to make souvenir coins. It's my cheap way to get a souvenir since magnets cost like 5 bucks. Those pennies only cost 50 cent and pennies cost the government money to produce.

I also collect Disney pins, dh collects action figures/ display statues, dd1 collects boogers, and occasionally I find that dd2 has stashed a Cheerio or two in her diaper.

My LO collects cars. Cars! Cars! Cars! Is what's all over my house. Everyone buys him cars (and balls but I've since put a halt to the ball buying after busting my a$$ numerous of times on balls of every size)
