I'm Canadian so my thanksgiving was awhile ago but I made my stuffing in the slow cooker, and a carrot dish in another slow cooker. I used an electric roasting dish to make the turkey and so I really just did some squash/apples in the oven and everything came together nicely.

I make 24 hour mashed potatoes so I'm making them the day before. Basically, I cook the potatoes, mash them, add the other ingredients (cream cheese, sour cream, butter, and paprika) and then refrigerate overnight. Bake them for 30 minutes on Thanksgiving and they're dang good! But other than that I only do desserts the day before.

Broccoli salad, served chilled, so it would be ideal to make day before.

You can put all the casseroles together.

I am making my brine tonight and soaking the turkey for a day and a half. Getting all my seasonings mixed for the ham.

My bacon cooked for the green beans.

I usually prep my macaroni and cheese and peel my potatoes then let them soak in salt water. That's pretty much the only thing I do.

Sweet potatoes. You can prep the stuffing and have it in a pan ready to bake. Do prep work for cutting veggies you will need. Can cut potatoes for mashed and put them in water with salt

Smith, also, another fun fact about soaking potatoes, it helps remove a good bit of starch. So technically it's a little healthier?

Depending on how you make your Mac n cheese, you could prep it and only have to stick it in the oven on Thursday.

I'm making the pies tomorrow. I'm sure you can prep things like veggies and potatoes too. With the potatoes, I'd make sure you keep them in cold water after peeling/chopping them though so they stay fresh.

I would think mashed potatoes, desserts, uhmmm idk depends what you're making. Anything with a casserole could be made in advance.

Are you talking about dessert dishes or the basic food for thanksgiving?

If your making pies you can make them tonight/tomorrow.
