Shortness of Breath

Has any experienced shortness of breath at all? I'm 6 weeks and have noticed at random times I have a hard time catching my breath, not after doing anything strenuous either. Today it was once while talking on the phone and once while I was reading a book to my toddler, it was so bad while I was reading I had to stop just to figure out if I was going to pass out or anything.

Yes, I experienced that with my first baby and around the same time, 5weeks. I hear it's because we're producing more blood.

I get out of breath while eating! Have to chew and then breathe consciously between mouthfuls. My diaphragm is also quite painful, particularly at night. Dr Google tells me that it’s just my body making room for the baby and causing pressure/ lack of space everywhere else. I’m only 5 weeks, can’t imagine the lack of space situation at 9months!

I had this with my last pregnancy. Turned out i was anemic the whole time. I urge you to get checked if its excessive or it seems not normal

Yeah I’ve got the works.

My heart rate is high and having ectopic heart beats. So that makes me feel short of breath.

It’s common in pregnancy to have these issues. But if your worried get it checked out for peace of mind.

Adult children living at home

Adult children living at home My husband and I argue about this all the time. He says he will never put our children out and they will always have a place to live here at home. I completely disagree. My children can live at home through college if they choose to go and a short while after while they find a job and get on their feet. However, if they choose to not go to school or not have a job, there is no way they will live at home for free. I just feel like when you're an adult, it's time to act like one. I also would not let my married children live at home either. Of course there will always be exceptions like if they fall on hard times, lose their job, have health issues, etc. I also would let them stay for a while if they were in "transition", as in they are waiting for a house to be built or something.
