Pre-eclampsia
I'm 36w+4d and I had my doct appt yesterday. My blood pressure and weight gain have been excellent through out my entire pregnancy. All of a sudden I have had a sudden drastic increase in both plus added swelling and a little dizziness. The doctor ordered me to go in for blood tests today to check for pre-eclampsia. Has anyone ever experienced this before or is going through it now? And what happened?
I was induced at 36 + 3 because of it. Tried to go natural but after 15 hours only progressed a cm and baby's heartbeat kept dropping so had to have a c-section. I was put on bed rest at 36 because my Dr. wanted to get me to 37 or 38 weeks but my symptoms were just getting worse every day. Good luck!
Wow ok thank you so much for your guys comments. Sitting in the waiting room to get blood drawn now. Should know by the end of the day. Fingers crossed it was just a fluke. Good luck to you ladies!
I went through it last pregnancy and lools like I have the beginning signs this time around also. Unfortunately, at this point in your pregnancy if it is found you do in fact have preeclampsia they will deliver the baby as soon as possible. Not sure about your doctor but mine said it was necessary to have a c section. After the delivery they will give you a medication through your IV called magnesium. The side effects are not pleasant but they need to administer it as a precaution in case your pressure spikes after delivery. Good luck and keep us posted!

im being monitored for blood pressure and checking baby movements and seeing if i have pre-eclampsia
The Good news: perfect candidate to try for a VBAC
The bad news: they found little protein in my urine and my blood pressure was high (it's usually always alittle high anyway) so I had more effin blood work And I have to do a 24 urine and go back Friday to have it all looked at and another blood pressure check.
Any mamas get pre eclampsia or like pre pre eclampsia at about 29 weeks?/:
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
How long did you go through labor? I went through 14 hours of labor when I had Oliver. Would have been longer if the doctors hadn’t given me meds to speed up the labor. I was given an epidural, my blood pressure went down to 80 and they had to give three epidural shots to get me stable again and they had to stop it for 20 minutes because the doctor was out at lunch. 🙄 so by the time I gave birth I felt everything

So I had my baby at 12:46am but I’m asking for prayers or any good vibes sent my baby & my way. I had to have an emergency csection (never had one before either so still freaking out that I had one) because my placenta abrupted & now they transferred my baby to another hospital to give him care that this hospital doesn’t provide since he can not breathe on his own and he is going to be getting blood transfusions as well & they are saying it can go either way for my baby and I’m literally heartbr...
Had an emergency csection on the 22nd at 35 weeks because of it, it was to the serious point so they wanted her out of there as soon as possible. Once I delivered i was on magnesium for 24 hours, I have never felt so sick in my life. But after that every symptom went away and I feel so great.
