Here's her bio and general tips: Hello I am Ceiamaria I am a stay at home Mother to 4 children ages 12,8,7 and 11 months old. I am happily married for 12 years and we are still going strong. I am determined and driven for success FAILURE isn't an option for me. I potty trained my oldest at 9 months old. My 2 middle son's were more difficult they were between 18 months and 2 years old. My baby boy was showing interest in potty training, I decided to buy him a potty chair. Potty training tips 1.) Don't rush your child 2.)Don't yell at your child 3.) Don't punish your child for having accidents 4.) Don't give you child candy 5.) Don't compare other children to your child 6.) Do praise your child 7.) Clap your hands when your child goes to the potty. 8.)Take your child every 15-30 minutes to the potty 9.)Don't criticize your child 10.) I don't recommend pull ups but I don't bash mothers who decided to use them. 11.) Remember potty training is not taught in one day you have to be determined to potty train your child. We just kept him naked 24/7 - as I say it took a while but that's mainly because we can't keep the potty on the floor because the baby will play with it ?the most difficult obstacle was the talking part. We had to teach him to sign the letter 'p' so he could let us know he needed the toilet.
As for the car, the longest he's been in it is about 20 minutes so far. But we have been on a 35 minute bus journey with about 5-10 minutes walking and he didn't pee once (was wearing a pull up that day just in case) The next time we require a long car journey he'll have been potty trained for a bit so he might be able to hold for at least half the trip and we can stop off, but we'll probably stick a pull up on to be double safe!

Congrats! I would like to say we are potty trained as well except for a few situations. I'm a SAHM and she is fully potty trained while we're at home she either goes on her training pot by herself or if we're not in the same room as the pot she will tell me and we use the big toilet.
Same for when we're out in public she will tell me and we use public restroom. The problem is the CAR. All training goes out the window and she just pees herself and car seat and then tell me afterwards " mommy I made a mess". Drives me nuts, I've clean that car seat so many times.
Any tips on potty training for car rides?
