I love the built in side guards. Amazing. We got my eldest son bed for £69 but it didn't have the guards on. He's just got a temporary one. I might be getting this one for him instead ?

This is the bed we got him (he's not in it until Sunday so we can babyproof) So pretty low to the ground, but he can get up and down from ours which is higher, and low enough so that if he falls out its not a big drop ?

Did you just put the mattress on the ground or buy a bed?!

I don't know what I want to do my child is crazy and is trying t jump off of things. I'm worried that if I get a actual bed she will try jumping at night.

Luckily Noah generally goes straight to sleep at bed time, and definitely knows how to get on and off our bed properly! The only thing I'm concerned about is him waking up and roaming around the room while we're still asleep, so we're gonna be babyproofing the hell out of the room!!

I think i will wait until right before the next one is born so around 22 months. Right now he isnt ready at all. He doesnt know how to get onto things or down from things and he rolls around like crazy! He still fights bed time as well.

We will probably wait another year. My eldest was 22 months and he transitioned fine. He might be ready before that though, will see how he goes.

How do you know when they're ready? I'm enjoying the peace of mind that LO is still contained in the crib, haha! She hasn't started climbing out yet, thankfully.

Oh yay!! We will switch around Dec/Jan! Unless she figures out how to climb out of the crib!
