Sharp pain
I'm 34 weeks and 2 days pregnant with my first child and ever since I started the third trimester have been experiencing sharp almost stabbing pain on one side of my pelvis, usually the left. It happens if I have been sitting for a while and than want to get up or switch positions. The pain only lasts a few seconds and than I feel fine. Any ideas what causes this pain? Anyone else have this occur to them??
Unfortunately sounds like sciatica. I believe the nerve runs through the pelvis cavity and by the third trimester the weight and/or position of baby can compress this nerve. Yoga helped me. It was difficult to deal with once it arrived though. Having supportive shoes did seem to help some. There are a few stretches you can try to alleviate the pressure. (The cat stretch where you arch your back and release, and the kneww pressea where you stretch your pelvis...knees to the floor) Some of the aches and pains are really the joys of pregnancy smh. Do your best to tone and stretch gently. Tighten and release your muscles (kind of like kegels) Look into prenatal yoga. Also, being in water is a great relief. I hope you feel better soon.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Thanks ladies! I'll definitely get in the pool and look into the prenatal yoga!
