More than likely you misread the test (evap/indent) if you get a false positive bc a hpt will not pick up hcg at levels as low as 1... Different test have different sensitivities but I believe a lot are like 10-25... Anyways to op if you got a BFP, you're pregnant dear! Congrats!

Congrats, and yes falling pregnant on the pill is more common than most think, I fell preg with (natural) triplets while on the pill, and I took it correctly and never missed one, also my oldest son was conceived on depo shot so birth control doesn't really work for me ! Congrats ?

I was more replying to the other person who commented. But the pill as in birth control? If you saw a positive then I'm sure you are pregnant because there is def no false positives. Unless you are taking fertility drugs. I you're not then you are pregnant :)

Definitely a positive lol....it's because I was using the pill so my SO thinks it could be fake....I have explained to him it's very rare to get false positives lol and contraception isn't 100%!

Maybe you saw and indent line? Because really, you can have a false negative but NOT a false positive. Unless you have one of the above circumstances.... I would see a different doctor maybe? All I can say is good luck :) hope all goes well.

I'm not on fertility drugs nor do I have ovarian cancer I saw my doc not even 3days later and my levels were at a 1 they ARE possible

The only things that cause a false pos pregnancy test is a rare type of ovarian cancer or fertility drugs, if ur not on fertility meds and the other is very rare and unlikely, I would say ur preg congrats !

Yes im not on any infertility drugs and i got one last cycle doc ruled out a chemical but said there is a small window of time before af you can get one thats why docs dont want you testing before af comes
