housing benefit/paternity pay

Hey does anybody know if we would be entitled to more housing benefit when my other half takes his 2 weeks paternity leave? I really dont understand how it all works to be honest but we currently get part of our rent paid by housing benefit and when he takes his leave he will only get a fraction of his usual wage so its gonna be hard for us to cover what we usualy would have to pay towards the rent from what he is going to get paternity pay. So im wondering if they would top it up for those 2 weeks....? If that makes any sence 2 any1 ? lol tia xx

What do you think is fair? DF and I pay $885.00 a month for a 2 bedroom 825sqft apartment. We pay for electric, water, cable and Internet separately. My parents are getting a divorce and my dad has 2 dogs that he can't take care of because of the hours he works. DF and I were talking about moving in with my dad to help him take care of the house and dogs because now that he has to pay spousal support to my mom money will be tight for him. We will be paying to live there. My dad told us to come up with what we think is fair for rent (we are a family of 4, 2 adults 2 children) I'm not sure what sounds fair. All utilities are included and comes with cable and Internet. We will also be helping with groceries. What do you think is a fair amount ?

Paternity leave How long are your husbands or SO getting off for paternity leave? My husband is only getting 1 week off. Then he leaves again. He works in the oilfields so he's always gone. I'm so upset it can't be longer. I'm more than likely having another c-section so it's going to be hard recovering plus handling a newborn and two year old. Makes me sad ?

need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.

Rant: I love but hate pay day. My SO is the only income in the house and gets paid once a month. He gets paid and then blows most of it on his fucking online game leaving little for grocery money for the month. I understand it's his money and he can do what he wants but at the same time I wish he wasn't so selfish and would think about his family first instead of spending $600 plus on his games... Then I get my ass chewed cause there is no food in the house.. Need money to have food in the house...
