Tax credits???

Hey,does anyone know about tax credits and why i might have got 2 payments this week? I usually get tax credit plus working tax credit paid in on a wed, which did happen but i seem to have got another payment today, think child tax was pretty much the same but the working tax was around £10 less than i usually get. Im hopeing to get a letter tomorrow so i havnt got to spend hours on the phone lol but im worried im not going to get any money going in next week now. Like was the extra payment this week instead of next? So confused....either way im going to leave it aside incase i dont recieve anything next week but thought one of u ladies might have an idea? Xx

I've just checked my bank. And I also yesterday got an extra payment. A little less than I normally get. I don't have to renew this time as the letter I got last time said it would be automatically renewed. Will just have to see what come in on my usual pay date!!  X

Apparently they sent my renewal out a week ago still haven't recieved it they post 2nd class so u won't get ur letter yet I got my extra payment wed n still no letter for me

If u or ur oh work they will have been in touch with ur employer u will still be paid next week but the amount may have changed mine has gone down 20 a month

I got an extra payment this week it's cos they have had earnings from my oh work and it's wat they owed me for that period although now my monthly payments have gone down and even though they know the earning still have to renew all very complicated ring up n ask they'll tell u y

Yea i never recieved a renewel pack, i didnt last year either but they said that mine will automatically renew without me having 2 fill in the form or whatever... I just wish they sent letters before the bloody payments lol x

This happened to me last week, they said as its the end of the tax year thats what they still owed me so i received an extra payment xx
