Tips/Tricks - Dining Out
What do you all bring for the little ones to keep distracted while dining out? Or what tricks have you came up with.
I let her go to the bathroom to wash her hands and play with the hand dryer for about 5 mins just to get her walking around. She loves that.
I bring a few toys and eventually let her look at pictures of herself or YouTube if he toys aren't working.
I usually barely get to eat my food tho. She will eat some and then demand my attention
I agree with the packets or I give her a menu to read
We didn't go because I was scared I wouldn't enjoy myself. ☹️
I bring a lot of snacks and dole them out a few at a time. I also bring some little toys to play with like a travel puzzle or miniature block set, I also have a sorting game for her to play. In desperate times I let her watch YouTube videos on my phone but I don't like to make a habit of that.
Good luck I have no tips lol I'm having the same problem I usually ask for a booth for more room so if she wants to get up she doesn't have a chance to escape. But I still have problems I can keep her entertained for a little while then it goes down hill fast. Let's just say we either end up with to go boxes or I eat so fast I never taste my food. Good luck mama eat good
